The Americans with Disabilities Act - What your organization needs to know!

This program covers all facets of The ADA of 1990, including the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 and new Final Rules that became effective in 2016 and 2017. Attendees will walk through the original intent of the ADA and Titles I, II and III and how each Title approaches discrimination towards individuals with disabilities. The walk through Titles II and III is quite lengthy and it is recommended that the attendee take their time while viewing these Titles due to the pertinent information regarding revisions to the regulations as well as organizational responsibilities outlined in each subpart. Each section of this program will include a short quiz to recap the pertinent content that is covered. An attendee will receive a handout of Titles I, II and III with references to the subparts with an abbreviated explanation of their general purpose and all necessary components to meet compliance.
